The best keyboards I have ever owned would be a tie between my '88 Focus with blue ALPS and my poker with treble case, vortex PBT, and ergoclears. Its a first generation because I prefer PCB mount.

I've come to this quite strange realization, that this person is speaking the TRUTH thinking.gif .

Alps is worth considering, if you truly fancy a mechanical keyboard for everyday usage.

Corsair K65 mechanical, has a heavy all aluminum body so it stays put when gaming.

Novatouch TKL, despite the ****ty printing (letters disappear really fast, you can notice differences between keys the first days), I really loved those hybride topre switches.
I sold it because it's really hard to find key set for an azerty keyboard (I leave in France).

edit: it was that bad after 1 week !

So far the best that i have ever owned is my current MagicForce 68 with Gateron Reds. Noticeably smoother than MX Cherry Reds and lighter. The stock keycaps are meh with the MF68, its mainly the font that is some horrid sci-fi font, but the caps themselves are not bad, they have no shine through bleed like other cheap caps I have used and the LED shine thru is very clean behind the font.

Was pretty inevitable the Alps hipsters would ruin the thread with their smug fart sniffing antics.

You are always welcome to cushion yourself to my backside sunshine, just breathe in the magnificence wave2.gif .

You also have to stop felching the rancid Cherry and finally appreciate the awesomeness of the Alps.
