How to schedule BOINC?

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,

I hope this is the right forum for my question.
If not, somebody move it to the right category.

I have a question about managing the BOINC client.
I am looking for a kind of scheduling method, so my BOINC uses my computer only at night.

Is that possible?
Because I can't find it on Google... thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

I hope to hear from someone soon.

Kind Regards,
Rik

In Computing Preferences there is a Daily Schedule tab. I've never used but I guess thats where you could set it up.

I use it on my work PC. I dropped a pair of E5-2670s in my workstation biggrin.gif I have it start at 6:00 p.m. and turn off at 7:30 a.m. You just have to set it to run based on preferences on the activity tab.

If you set it and enable it during work, the process will have a status of suspended - time of day

That's right.
I see that the work processes are stated "Suspended - Time of day".

Many thanks for the fast help.
