OC 8320e on a Asus m5a78L-M/USB3

Hi, I'm Víctor and i would like to OC this processor. I'm sorry for my english but is not my first language:D
I've been trying to overclock it since a long time reading a lot of pages but i don't get an stable OC. Not even putting x20 and turbo core and cool n' quite disabled.
I have a 750W power supply and I really don't know what more to do.

Thank you for replaying ^^

Don't try to OC on that board. FX 6-8 core chips need a pretty decent board with active VRM cooling including heatsinks on the VRM's (which the board in use does not have sadly) in order to explore overclocking.

The only mATX solution worthy of a semi decent overclock is Gigabytes 78lmt board revision 5.0 or 6.0. Stay away from 4.1.

So if I buy a better motherboard to OC this processor, my OC's would be stable? I have enough space for it. I have a Sharkoon VG4-W USB 3.0 ^^
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Asus M5A97 R2.0
MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition USB 3.1
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming
Asrock 970 Extreme4
MSI 970 Gaming
Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
Asus 970 PRO GAMING/AURA RGB

Which of these motherboards would be enough? I ordered them by price biggrin.gif

Forget the Asrock, MSI, and the cheapest ASUS boards. The Gigabyte boards are solid except for their user unfriendly bios. The better ASUS boards are solid plus they have good bios with the Aura being the best of the bunch. You get what you pay for.

So it is worth it to pay more for the aura one? Or should I go for the evo? I want to turn my 8320e into something like 8350-70
EDIT: I just found an ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 for 65€ on ebay so i think i'll buy it if isnt worth it at all biggrin.gif

Yes that is a good board. It doesn't have all the latest features like the newer boards but it will do the job just fine.
