Obviously downclocked or damaged hardware, it's being offered at a lower clock rate 16GB 4096bit and 12GB 3072bit HBM2 formats.

3072bit.... Abby Normal Edition?

Looks like a 10% reduction in capacity across the board and they're saying it's 250w TDP.

Guess what: no display adapter ports.

It's pretty clear it's using 3 memory dies instead of 4, so 3/4 the bandwidth.

if you don't use any display for gaming, sure.
Since when is a display port a requirement, or even a useful feature, for a card designed almost entirely for compute rather than graphics output. That's like complaining that your hard drive doesn't have a display output.

Exactly, so it's not going to be a 1080ti.

for that you have GP102.

Looking at teraflops it would be disappointing for gaming anyway - it's GTX1080 territory in single precision. And only 1300 Mhz at 250W - no wonder they will be doing special gaming only chip this time.

thats because P100 is entirely dedicated for double precision compute.
they had made slides of this, along with NVLink, had everyone forgot about this?
