*Cough* That hivemind.

I counted 4. I don't see how people can be mad at such a great price. I'm just hoping the 470 will be priced @ $149.99 so I could replace my 270X.

The 480 is nowhere NEAR flagship.

If the definition of flagship is the top card in a series then yes it is.

If the definition is bleeding edge performance then you are correct.

How the hell can they fix pricing 4 months in advance blinksmiley.gif
They're just setting themselves up for failure.

You do know the reference boards will launch June 29th right?

I don't know if saving $150 is enough to warrant higher power bill, more heat, more noise and most importantly suffer CF issues and be in developers mercy to have CF support for every new game.

People like to keep showing CF RX480 down our throats but it's just not practical and I don't see many people who are considering 1080 going 2x RX480 path.

So again, AMD doesn't have real answer to GTX1080, not yet at least.

Anybody who was thinking about a 1080 in the first place would never have considered the 2x RX 480 alternative anyway. Two mutually exclusive market segments and types of buyers.

What CF RX 480 does do, is fill up the price gap between 1070 and 1080 for much higher potential performance, for those willing to deal with CF issues.

Don't know, I don't think I've ever seen anyone refer to a GTX1060 (ti) as flagship.
