NZXT PWM fan hub and H115i

Hello.

I've just built a new system:

- VIII Impact
- NZXT Manta
- H115i

I'm struggling to understand how I control the fans in my case. The NZXT Manta comes fitted with a PWM fan hub so everything is plugged into that with the PWM cable going into the CPU port on the mobo. Running Fan expert doesn't allow me to change any of the fan speeds at all and I am confused as to why? The H115i has a 3 pin that is supposed to be plugged into a CPU port so i've put it on the CPU port on the fan hub. The H115i PWM fans are then connected to the Y splitter coming off the pump. When opening fan expert I am unable to change the fan speed and it just stays at 1500 RPM. What should I do?

Cheers.

"Built-in Corsair Link for monitoring, customization and control

Attach the included Corsair Link cable to a USB header on your motherboard and download the free Corsair Link software to unlock even more power.

You can customize cooling performance, monitor coolant and CPU temperatures, and change the color of the RGB LED lighting from the default white to match your system, or to change color based on temperature readings and other inputs

Hi,

I don't have a 2.0 usb port on the mobo and i'm not particularly fussed about link. Can I not control it via the bios?

You have the ai suite 3 so you should have a bios option for controlling the fans.

It's very limited. You should at least have an additional chassis group. Maybe its because you don't have a fan pluged in any of the chassis group pins.

When you connect to the motherboard is that a 3 pin or a 4 pin connector?
How many wires and what colors are on the female connector that you are plugging into the motherboard?

The NZXT manta PWM fan hub cable is 4 pin and is connected to the CPU header on the mobo. The H115i is 3 pin and ive attached that to the white CPU cooler on the fan hub. The h115i fans are connected to the Y splitter on the pump. Should I just plug my rad fans onto the white cpu cooler on the fan hub? What about the AIO 3 pin cable? it says to plug that into the cpu header on the mobo but that is taken up by the PWM cable to the fan hub. So confused!

Rad fans hook directly into the "y-splitter" as you call it. They don't hook into any fan hub. The fans are meant to be controlled by Corsair link. If your motherboard doesn't support USB, then you will have to either find a third party program that controls the fans or you're SOL.
