here's a really dumb question i just got mine today and built and i put the psu in the bottom. how in the hell do you route the psu cables from the basement to the top? behind the mobo tray there are no holes to pass cables through which seems really stupid unless i'm just completely missing it.

I completely understand your frustration There is absolutely no way to do it, this case is definitely not well thought out, also cable management in the back is horrible there is hardly any place to use zip ties. I think they really expect people to use the bottom strictly for radiators, as I did and route cables through the fan holes by swapping in the plate with the grommets. I actually put my psu up on top and made a cover for it

I don't own the case but just seeing pics it looks like the PSU is definitely meant to go in its typical place, however I see the pedestal does have a cutout on the back at a 90 degree orientation as well. I'm guessing Tt thought if anyone wanted to put the PSU in the pedastal it would be easy enough to cut holes for cable routing.

Yeah I thought about drilling a hole for my fan cables but I went a different route it was honestly frustrating considering you pay over 400.
