SLI and CrossFire

Thread Starter
I have this board http://www.gigabyte.ie/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5124 and I am currently running SLI 970s.
Was wondering, if I switch to AMD and CrossFire does the board need to officially support that or they no longer make boards either SLI or CrossFire only as they did in the past? i.e. As long as you have multiple PCI slots for the GPUs you're good?
Because I can't find anything specific on my board.

That board supports both SLI and Crossfire.

Thanks.
Thought so, just couldn't find it on the official spec page.
I see you're also running 3x1080p surround setup.
I assume you can't push anything to ultra & 60fps on that res with one 980Ti right?

I don't game much any more and this pic is a lot blurry but that's Crysis 3 on max settings. Not exactly sure what the frame rate was but there was no stuttering or any other issues. It was completely playable.
