I need a ASUS R9 390X GPU fan

Thread Starter
As the title says. I seemed to have accidentally broken off a fan blade on one of the gpu's fans. :<<br />
If their's anybody around that doesn't use the shroud for this gpu and would like to help me out, please let me know!

I really don't want to have to send in this GPU to ASUS for 'repair' and be charged whatever amount just for a simple fan fix.

Thanks everyone!

Remove the fan and check the fan number then Google up that fan number. Chances are it is made by either Evercool or Power Logic.

Something like this might help:
https://www.amazon.com/Evercool-80mm-Drop-Replacement-screw/dp/B009D3GEEQ

Your best bet though is to buy the exact model of fan.

Some reading (post 4):

Steps:-

1. Remove the plastic shroud to expose the fan and its three mounting screws

2. Remove the fan and check the label on its back to confirm it is Evercool T129215SU.

(This fan is actually used also in other DirectCU models including GTX560, HD6790, HD6870.)

3. Once this is confirmed, order a replacement.

Relatively expensive (US$33) as it will be mailed from the US to Hong Kong.

(b) As I see you are in Hong Kong, then you mostly likely have heard of TaoBao (Newegg equivalent in China). Order the replacement from there costs much less, costing about 1/5 of the above price.

Spoke to a seller on Alienexpress. He's got single fans for sell. A bit pricey at $25, but at least it's the exact same model. I'm sure ASUS would charge me more if I turned the GPU in for an RMA.

I'll keep my hopes up that someone on here has a fan they would like to give me though, lol.
