FX-8320 106C Max Temp?

Hi guys, so I've been monitoring my temps and after playing a couple of games I noticed this..

Edit: If anyone's wondering, I have the Cooler master V6GT as my CPU cooler and it's at stock speed.

Could it be a faulty processor? I have also been experiencing random restarts and I've noticed it happens more frequently when gaming.

Event Viewer shows Kernel-Power Event ID 41 Task 63..

No idea what's going on with my PC... I originally thought this was a PSU issue.

Yea that's way hot. But not sure about accuracy....

That said, we cannot see the core temps in this screen shot in correlation to the socket cpu temp.

Would imagine a heat sink remount and cleaning may be in order.

Already cleaned my heatsink and reseated the CPU. I get 39-41c idle, not sure if that's hot.

I forgot to take a screenshot of the socket temp lol.

try monitoring your temp with core temp or hwinfo in stead.
Hard for me to believe you'd get that high of temp at those values.
