The dvd is probably only option right now. They haven't launched official drivers that i know of. Damn, im going to stop by a few stores in my area and see if they accidentally put some out for purchase.
I stopped by my local best buy and nothing. Asked dude at counter of geek squad desk he didn't even know what i was talking about. He did know about AMD's stock going down and waiting to see if they were bought out. Heh...
It was funny to see reaction like AMD was a disease you get from someone just being near. Ebola AMD edition i guess.

I am still rather bugged by the lock or NDA not lifted before launch. I need crossfire results and me personally may not really care about the performance of a single gpu. I am wanting to bench its possibly but rather hard to make any decision with nothing in hand until launch day. I am hearing various things and most are hard to believe but some are possibly very plausible. Such as the stock heat sink sucking really bad for overclocking on ref cards. While this may not be a big deal i need more specifics because i want to know if water cooling will help OC. This would be nice for benching knowledge i guess. Anyways I'm just blabbing however DAMN YOU AMD. I have a feeling its going to be more disappointing than good if they are locking the NDA this long.
I don't doubt this at all. I am curious about things like VRM temps and as you said Bios lock/wattage limits. Fiji really rubbed me the wrong way in this regard, the powerplay/throttling really just irked the living hell out of me. I really see these scaling well in crossfire. I also wonder if die surface/density will be an issue for heat as well if serious overclocks can be done. I doubt these cards will get full cover waterblocks due to the price/size. If it all looks bleak ill hold off for a while.
I am impatient i guess lol. I thought maybe the changes they made would help both dx12 and dx11. Still curious about driver overhead also with dx11 vs hawaii/grenada/fiji
All the while I'm using Intel HD 530... This consider an upgrade?
At this moment I just need a card to support 1080p
