Polaris RX 480 / RX 470 / RX 460 Discussion Thread - Page 58

Theoretically it should have a greater impact on performance because the RX 480 is bandwidth limited on higher resolutions...

So I've seen a lot of comments about people undervolting these cards but what should I undervolt it to? 1050mv? Lower?

Also my Asic is 91%, that's the highest I've ever had, i usually get potato cards with around 60

Every card is different so you should figure it out yourself
AFAIK asic number has nothing to do with the actual overclockability 😁 of the card

Can anyone test the new drivers with an undervolt and -20% power target?

I was after info on where to start and what is working for other folks, I know every card is different, thanks for the help. rolleyes.gif

Anyway....1040mv seems stable at 1266mhz +20 power. I can't wait for MSI afterburner support, WattMan is aids.

1.025-1.030 seems to be an achievable target for most people. Others have gone lower, but it really depends how close you want to cut to the stability curve or how much time you want to spend even finding it for your card.

Edit: I also gave up on RoTR again. Sorry. Even Steam overlay refuses to work for me now... so I pretty much did a lot of swearing at the monitor/game and said screw it.
