that means around 4 months to break even this $200 card !

just curious, you all miners concern about the OC of the card or Power consumption???

that poor GPU running 100% on load during mining !?????

Im curious

Is this discussion really relevant to this thread? Imo mining has severaly hurt gpu prices and is the reason many regular users cant afford better cards.

Stupid miners, buy all the damn cards, 2 months later at max when everyone has new GPU the virtual crypto currency will be unprofitable and everyone will start dumping the cards on 2nd hand market so they don't end up with a loss. Was the same BS with Litecoin. Plus selling/buying via some shady conversion sites to a more stable currency... really? That much believe in the cpyptocurrency, at least when you mine it, keep it.
The trend is pretty obvious, create a new cryptocurrency, mine the hell of it at start and hype it up so people mine it too and conversion websites allow you to convert your easily mined virtual trash from the start, profit, once mining becomes too hard and not profitable everyone bails the ship and the currency collapses. Start again, create a new crypto currency and repeat.

Can someone bench a comparison of DOOM OpenGL vs Vulkan? RX 480 and any other card? The review sites don't bother to do it.
