In need of custom length fan extension cables & jumperbox/manifold to hook up 12 fans to Aquacomputer A6

I am in need of custom length fan extension cables, can anyone suggest someone who makes these and does high quality work?

I also need some type of jumper box or manifold or something, I"m not sure of the term - but I need to plug 12 fans into an Aquacomputer A6 so that they can all be controlled with it and it only has ports for half that or something I think.

Thank you.

Do you need 3-pin or 4-pin extensions?
do you want fancy sleeved cables?
What length cables do you need?
What is the wattage rating of your fans?

the term you are looking for is fan hub. basically something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811997110

but if you have 6 of the 12 headers, then you can simply use splitters so that each header is controlling 2 fans.

however, the bigger questions are the one's Doyll asked. w/o those being answered, we can't be of much help.

The fans are currently at a shop being painted white for my build, but I'm using Gelid 120mm fans if that's any help at the moment, once I get them back next week I can give a better answer to 3 or 4 pins.

I have no idea on the wattage though?

Also yes I would like them sleeved in white paracord if possible - the paracord seems to be the better/higher quality sleeving material right?

As far as length, this will vary and I my desk case should also be ready next week so I can get a more detailed answer on length, but I'm going to need the extensions at least 2-3 feet long.

That fan hub seems to be sold out, any other suggestions on a high quality one?

Thanks.

the "fan hub" is only a search term.you can use on google/amazon/newegg/etc... (alot easier to find things if you know what is the term you are searching for) the link is only an example. you can go with anything you find in a search engine/store

the most common one's that's been discussed around at OCN that i've seen has been either the phantek version or the silverstone version. so you can just google phantek fan hub or silverstone fan hub and see what i'm talking about. there are other brands, but since I don't use fan hubs, i don't really keep up with which works better etc...

still, since you only have 12 fans to control and you already have 6 headers, you may be better off just getting splitters instead of a hub. splitters will also give you some additional length so you may or may not need as many extensions for some of the fans. many splitters have a length of 6 inches to begin with so that's something to consider. remember, the simpler the build, the more elegant it looks in the long run.

I just got a handful for a build from http://www.ensourced.net/ It took a couple weeks for them to arrive, but I'm very happy with the quality. He builds the extentions to order with your colors / pattern. Something I didn't realize when I ordered was he adds a curve to them so they bend easier around your bear. You can check my build log in my sig for some pics of the orange/black ones I got.

I'm going to be running 3/3/3/3 with my fan sets, so the splitter would work perhaps, but would leave a single fan on each row without a chainable buddy. And I could be wrong about the Aquaero6 having 6 fan ports, I'll have to check that but you've given me great info on directions I could take, so thank you.

Question - can I daisy chain these fans hub together if I need to get all of the fan ports I need to connect to a single Aquaero6?

You're not the first person to suggest him and I'm happy he also does fan cables as well. I've checked out his website before and seems like he does great work so I will def hit him up very soon to have him build me a custom set of cables, thanks for the recommendation.

I've got a little R&D to do so if I have any other questions or issues I'll post back here.

Thanks guys.
