So basically they aren't as hot cakes as people are making them to be. biggrin.gif

so the reports of them being the hottest selling high end GPU are false since there isn't alot(relatively) of them being produced and shipped out.

It doesn't matter if Chev says there's some FE's in 'insert random EU country here' it means the whole world must have pascal cards and the shortage is false.

Well either the production troubles are real or the big overwhelming demand and sales are real.

I'd say the production issues are real, if they had more at the distributors there wouldn't be such long wait times for more stock.

A local (big) seller where I am has two brands of FE's listed as in stock, 2 FE brands out of stock, and 6 AIB cards...........you guessed it, all out of stock.

There's some sort of production problem, they probably launched a month earlier than they should've just to get on the market before AMD's 480, even though it's not competing with their cards lol.

What are you talking about?
If the RX480 will obilerate the 980Ti according to you (lol), and the Ti is right behind a 1080 with a good OC, what makes you think a 1080 is a better buy?
Don't worry though, you'll feel the hurt on your 1080 purchase in a few months.

We are talking about the old titan, the first version. not the black, nor the X.
That titan's performance can be rivalled by the 980.

talking about dx12
nah, don't worry about me, worry about new games coming in this fall

27% is pretty big, certainly not "right behind" like you said. considering it's 1.5GHz 980Ti in a game where maxwell did receive dx12 optimizations.
