[S/A] Serious problem hits Nvidia’s consumer Pascal GPUs - Page 27

When something doesn't seem right that's because it usually isn't.

There are people paid to disrupt certain hardware releases, there are also people with personal interests in a said company ie whether they work for them, own shares etc etc.

It's been going on for years, they are on every major tech forum monitoring the threads lol.

Could the article be referring to the stutter/DPC latency issues with Pascal cards? NVIDIA have tried to fix with a 'hotfix' but it does nothing to improve the situation, nor does the newly released 369.09.
I'm actually returning my 1080 tomorrow.

There is this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/4wh8jc/msi_officially_announces_gtx_1070_quality/

Not sure if the translation is off, but something to think about.

No.

also the hotfix did work for lots of users.
I myself am not having the problem, but I am on an older chipset of X58.

also I thought you were going to wait one more week before returning your card?
here is a post from you just yesterday, pretty short week.

and there's this, new driver with more of a fix mid month.

Hotfix worked for me in lowering the measured latencies in LatencyMon. That said, I didn't experience any stutters or lags or even audio glitches even before the hotfix. I guess I'm lucky.

Why? It's the headline from the source article which is what it's supposed to be...

From what I gather in the last page, its related to the 1070 only? Also, being a forum furst, we should probably make these things as clear as possible no? News sites tend to overblow stuff.

The original article (with its click bait headline) was only talking about general manufacturing and issues with supplies, and not actual "serious problem" for consumers.

The stuttering / lag times of the 1070 or 1080 was according to nvidia, was an issues with idle clocks timing which was fixed via drivers, and it is unrelated to the original article.
