[S/A] Serious problem hits Nvidia’s consumer Pascal GPUs - Page 6

I think it's still much better than Fury X/Nano availability. If you want a 1080, you'll get a 1080 from one source or another and it won't take much searching and waiting tbh. Wasn't that way with Fiji, at least here in Central Europe.
One things for sure, the 1080 is scarce as water in the desert compared to the 980/980Ti at launch.

Might be a reason for that:

"AIB partners told us that the 1080 is the bestselling high-end card in the history of GPU."

http://fudzilla.com/news/graphics/40947-geforce-gtx-1080-sold-out-selling-excellent

GN has also communicated with AIB partners and supply should stabilize:

I don't buy that for one second to be honest. You have to actually have more stock available to sell then any other GPU in history at launch in order to make that claim and there's no question that there isn't as many 1080s available for sale as there were other cards on release.

Charlie has been right on most of their leaks and info, years in advance. He charges because its worth it to market analysis types.

Ok...

So where is the news? Where is the article? Where are your sources? What IS effecting their GPU's?

Regardless if he is right (or not) there is nothing here beyond teasing and luring people.

Yeah but if you watched the video from Gamer's Nexus you would have heard him say, "All the AIB Partners are getting shipments daily but it is still not enough to keep up"

The article is there, you just have to pay an expensive sub to get it.

Fair enough but a thread based around speculation, calling it news, doesn't achieve anything. Unless someone is subscribed and is willing to share the article, there is nothing here.

That depends on how big each shipment is.

FWIW I'm inclined to believe for 1080 there is indeed an issue with GDDR5X supply, thereby limiting shippable quantities.

For 1070 nVidia is clearly sandbagging, if the lukewarm price cuts on 980 Ti is any indication.
