Asrock Timing Configurator

Thread Starter
Hoping someone can help. I have an Asrock Z170 OC Formula with a n I3 6100. On bios 2.03 right now but also tried 1.92. I have loaded all the drivers including Intel ME. Using win7 64 bit right now. I installed Asrock Timing Configurator and I can change the values in it but they are not applying as I have checked in cpuz. Any help would be appreciated.

What are you trying to do? assuming trying to either setup your memory or overclock it, go into the bios and there should be a tab or area for all the memory options. i sadly dont own a asrock board but your manual should assist you greatly in finding the right areas. i dont think you can change your ram speeds in windows nor will a driver help that. its all done in the bios i believe ( maybe im too old here and you can and i didnt know though haha. )

Haha thanks inversetundra. I have been tweaking mem in the bios but you can change most mem timings while in windows such as with memset ans asus memtweakit. I think you can with the asrock timing configurator too i just cant for some reason.

You cant change any timings on skylake in OS. Sorry. Can do it with haswell-e, haswell, and broadwell-e. No skylake.
