Afternoon guys

Thread Starter
Hi all,

Just wanted to post here, as I'm new to PC gaming. I'll be lurking around now for a bit and I will more than likely be asking newbie questions.
My goal is to upgrade a few things on my computer smile.gif Main thing is graphics card, which seems like such a confusing thing to venture into, but looking forward to it.

Gonkhead.

welcome to OCN!!
you will find a lot of great advice, and some you may have to weed through. tongue.gif

What is your current system specs? could use the rig builder, that makes things much easier.

What kind of games do you like to play, what resolution?

Yeah it's looking that way, but no hassles, I'm looking to sink in alot of time to learn more about it all.

I used the rig builder, I'm not sure how to show it.

I'll go to settings and edit this post if I find out how. As for games I like a lot of different genres. Having a computer that even runs ets on medium settings is still a novelty. I think my main goal will be to bring my PC up to spedd with GTAV and KSP. As of now I can run Skyrim on medium settings. But I recently got The Evil Within and boy does that struggle..

[edit] I figured out how to show my rig, thanks!

I'm using an application called speccy to find out about the gpu. This is what it's saying.

Download GPU-Z and it will tell you more.

But the 1024MB Vram, will run out pretty quick if you have all the eye candy on, plus which type of filter you have running

I'll grab that now. I used another benchmark site to see how it measured up. It wasn't the best. But this is by far the best computer I've own so...

Just want to say thank you for your help with this!
