I think you're right, I've owned two g302's & about 6 g303's (plz dont judge me, I sent 4 of the later back!!) and the buttons on the g303 don't work aswell. It can be hard to use m1 or m2 directly afterward the mousewheel and they felt less crisp/rigidly secure (still good mind you).

I agree, it looks longer than the mx300/g100s to me as well.

If it is, hopefully it's only 1-2mm.

It looks like a rubber cable from the photo, but that could be pre-production.

So, after comparing the mouse to other things for scale; i.e. Numpad or phone in the picture, what size would you guess this mouse would be length n width?
the mousepad is about 16" high so length 5.8 or 6" Width 3"ish.
actual mousepad dimensions below if somebody wants to put it into Photoshop and csi the crap out of it.
Width: 18.1 inches / 460 mm
Height: 15.7 inches / 400 mm
Depth: 0.24 inches / 6 mm

Are you sure it's the large version?

Small:
Width: 13.4 inches / 340 mm
Height: 11 inches / 280 mm
Depth: 0.1 inches / 2 mm

Large:
Width: 18.1 inches / 460 mm
Height: 15.7 inches / 400 mm
Depth: 0.24 inches / 6 mm

Probably inaccurate as hell because of angles/depth but I get the following:

If 390px = 340mm (small mat), then 150px (mouse length) gives us 130mm.

If 460mm (large mat), mouse length = 176mm.

Either it's a small mat or something is horribly wrong with my calculations. Anyway, I don't think it's possible to have something accurate with this picture alone. I tried to straighten up both the mat and the mouse, but since it's the first time I've done this, I'm really not sure.

Anyway, since we have no info yet, it's better than nothing I guess. rolleyes.gif

No i'm not sure which is why I posted the dimensions. I just assumed it was large because it looked way too big to be a "small" mousepad.

I think it's time for Logitech to tell us something. biggrin.gif

We need @VolsAndJezuz's insanity on this case.

You got tricked by the perspective. The photo is slanted. You should use the horizontal edge of the mousepad instead.
