Why would they remove the G303 and not the G302? The G303 is a direct upgrade to it.

They keep the G100s in Asia but they keep the G300s in Western countries. Why dat?

Because the g302 is a "budget" mouse at least now while the g303 is a midrange mouse and if this new mouse has a 3366 sensor will pretty much be the same target audience. If they still had the g100s listed it might not make sense to keep the g302, but its a matter of having a complete range of products or whatever.

If I understand correctly, the G100s was and is a big seller in Asia.
