legitimate question why do people even care about what mouse pro players use?

In this case it's very relevant because it's a prototype mouse. A mouse that we will likely buy and use for a long time if it turns out the way we want it to. It is good to talk about what you want before the final product is done.

Well, they're celebrities, more or less.
Pro players get hardware sold by name recognition alone (and then, sponsorships).

I didn't even know what EC and AM stood for when I bought it. Obviously it's the initials of the players, but I didn't care so I wasn't thinking about it. biggrin.gif

I don't really, but I do care about cool new mice. I'm pretty sure that is a big portion of what this forum is about. Also as far as the title I didn't know what else to call it. I could speculate as to the brand of this new mouse, but it may be better not to as there have been posts removed before for posting information about unreleased mice. I thought it would be better to just point out that these players are using a mouse I don't recognize from an unspecified company wink.gif .
