Yea looks nice. Here I am just hoping its in the 90g or below range and I'll be more than happy. I'll be turning those lights off unless they aren't distracting.

If by coated you mean if the fabric on top is coated, then no it's not coated. I have the full light blue/white version (which doesn't play well with 3310 mice, especially Mionix iterations) and it's very smooth, consistent fabric. I no longer use mine because I still haven't found a suitable replacement for my Heavy, but it worked great with my G303.
