anyone know how long it takes for mice to be available from Logitech after they officially reveal them? Hoping the new mouse can bought from their online store as soon as they reveal it.

Probably not long at all. The G900 was released very quickly after its announcement.

Gamescom, which runs from 08/17/2016 to 08/21/2016

I'm holding out on trying other mice until this comes out. I love my G900 but it's just heavier than I like in a mouse by 22g. I won't mind going back to the wire with a good shape 3366.

I'm in the same boat. G900 is really nice but if this new mouse is g100s/g303 weight I'll be down to switch to it. It is hard to go back to a cable now after using the G900, though.

Eh, you can always replace the cable. Also even awful cables feel okay if you set them up right. I haven't bothered replacing my g303 cable because I'm too lazy to order new feet and a cable or make one and even that awful cable is fine if I hang it off the top of my monitor so that it never touches the pad. I don't think I can go back to mounting my mouse cable in a way where it touches the pad every again though.

You can always set up a cable management clamp to work as a bungee:D

Honestly I don't see the point of mouse bungees. They aren't elevated enough to keep the cable off your desk. Unless you mount it on top of your monitor or a tall speaker or something I really dont' like them. The way I place my monitor and pad the right side of the monitor hangs over the pad about 4-6 inches (10-15cm) so I just tape the cable to the top right corner of the monitor with the appropriate length of cable and it can reach the full pad without ever actually touching the pad. With mouse bungees the cable still touches the desk most of the time and I can't stand it.

Same for me, I like the shape of the G900 and the wireless is also a plus. But if this mouse has a decent shape, it's light weight, and has the 3366 of course; then I would definitely switch to this.
