Yeah the only price points that would make sense are $70-$80. I'm going to guess it's $80, with how much effort they seem to have put into its product development, how much effort they have put into showing how much effort they put into its development, and they seem to really be trying to emphasize its 'premiumness'.

Basically, I think $80 is the most a company can get away with charging for a 'no-frills' type of top of the line gaming mouse (as opposed to 'bells and whistles' types of top of the line mice like G502 and G900), and Logitech will want to promote the G200 as the top of its class. They could undermine this impression on consumers by not pricing at the top of the category.

I think it will probably come out at $60-70 like the g303 and then quickly fall to <$50.

My official prediction is $80 initial price, down to $50 by the end of year as a Christmas special, then back up to $60 after that until the next Logitech G model is announced.

i have the same issue with the 303 which is one of the reasons i jsut dont use it anymore (apart from the shape). the top part if also wider as the bottom part of the mouse which i dont think helps the issue either and since it only happend to me when i made large swipes i think i wouldnt even be that bothered by it IF the lift of distance wouldnt be so low that as soon as the mouse slightly tilts it doesnt track at all anymore pretty much making my large swipes not fully track which is pretty annoying.
also didnt really find a setting to up the lift of distance slightly to see if that would fix my main issue which is kinda stupid frown.gif

i had similar issues with the g100s aswell but i think that was due to no mousefeet at the sides mostly because it even tilted in stationary position if i put a little weight on either side of the mouse (which i apparently do a lot biggrin.gif) unlike the 303.

$80 is a lot for such a mouse. It would be kind of difficult to sale a simple, small, 2 side button, G100s shaped mouse for such a price. The G303 was ~$70 at release.

Wasn't the DeathAdder 2013 in the $70 range at release? The DeathAdder 2013 was able to command a high release price being that it is one of the most popular mice and it had a new sensor.

The pricing should be inline with their current model line up. In other words, the higher the number series, the higher the price tag. TBH i believe this will cost at or lower than a g502. Probably at 402's price point is my guess

Dont care if it have premium price.
To me its everything I ever wanted in a mouse.
They could sell it in the $80 range if they had built up the hype using Skadoodle and other players. People are willing to spend a lot of money on the Scream One just because of the "1 taps."
