Some parts came in a few days ago.

Packed well from Highflow, really great customer service as well, can't recommend them enough.

Super sturdy box from bitspower, great packing as well.

Always appreciate good packing, especially because of the distance stuff travels to get to me.

A small sample of some of the fittings.

Cat tax. He loves all the tiny plastic bags, so many new things to lick.

Waiting on the case... I can't wait to get building.

Nice thumb.gif
Check the bottom of the cpu block with a straight edge and make sure it is flat as I had issues with my new EK block.

Thanks for the heads up. The base seems a very tiny bit convex near the center.
Wonder if that would work in my favor for naked mounting. Slightly better contact with the die?

My one was only touching on two points. Every time there was a cpu workload increase the pmw fan would speed up to maximum for about 3 to 4 seconds before slowing down.
Obviously couldn’t move the heat with sudden temp changes.

Looking forward to seeing more from this log! I'm currently in the same situation. All the WC stuff arrived, just waiting for the case biggrin.gif

That looks terribad. Did EK accept an RMA?

Parvum say they're going to be done cutting it soon, so should be here in a couple of weeks or so till it's here. Are you starting a build log?

No i didn't RMA it I just fixed it my self just wished I had spotted it before I assembled the system sadsmiley.gif

Still you don't expect it from a brand new part with qc sticker that why I advised you to check before you install yours.

Finally here.

Packed really well. It had to travel half way around the world.

Still building and planning. Frosted acrylic tubing was released a few days after I ordered all of my stuff.. ugh.
Might get some of those tubes later.
