3360 vs 3310 - Page 3

Something with dpi? wink.gif Most ppl use certain dpi (lower range here?) where everything should be fine eg. 400 800 1600 3200 are fine, and on higher something is potato. Well... just guessing.

So ____ is probably 3310, does 3360 have some issue with native DPI steps? Or innacurate DPI steps comes to mind with 3310.

at first i figured it may have something to do with the (in)accuracy of advertised cpi steps,
because there's this:
but again, multiplied by 8 seems a bit much.
and it doesn't really make sense when filling it in the blanks anyway.

what else was off with the G402/G302? AM010 gurus assemble!

I don't know that much, but since he keeps saying specifically the G402 maybe it has something to do with the accelerometer uses at high speeds. Idk the only problem I can think of about the G402 is variance at high speed where it uses the accelerometer. Other than that idk. Also its not clear if the multiply by 8 thing means it is worse than the 402 in some way or just has a problem that is 8 times smaller or happens in a more extreme situation. It could be something bad that happens in a situation at 8 times higher speed or 8 times higher CPI/DPI

My only guess is something bad happens at high CPI. Either the PCS is lower or there is some variance or something? The most logical thing would probably be

As anyone that uses high CPI doesn't care about PCS anyway. And also it won't effect us because we use low CPI?

I assume random DPI steps like 80, so no 500 or 1000? (:
