My bro is looking at this monitor - Iiyama ProLite B2783QSU 27" LED 1ms Gaming Monitor - (MON3700)

Is it any good for gaming with probably a amd rx480 with freesync?

Thanks

75hz, but only 48-70hz freesync range. that sucks.

Yeah but those freesync range numbers is what the gpu is most likely to be running at right? The better monitors with lower range are too expensive

The prices I see on Google Shopping and eBay are all above $450, I'm fairly certain you can get a much better 1440p for $450...

Just an example

I can't know what you'll be running at what fps. If you say so... I had 980Ti 1.5GHz on 1440p monitor and it did drop below 48 fps.
If you're gonna be running RX 480 I do not recommend it. 23hz freesync range is laughable, new open world games have huge fps variance. Huge. In Dying Light I sometimes saw 60 fps-140 fps variance in one sequence, but the transition was smooth and no tearing at all of course.
