Quick question before I give up

Trying to undervolt a Dell Latitude e6500, and I'm running into issues:
Motherboard won't let me undervolt, so I have to go software side
Intel XTU doesn't support the CPU (c2d p8700)
Intel Desktop Control Center doesn't support Windows 10 (not in compatibility mode either)
SetFSB doesn't have my PLL listed

So all I really wanted to know was if SetFSB doesn't have my PLL listed, does that meant it's not capable of tweaking my CPU's voltage?

If SetFSB will in any way support your CPU/Motherboard the thing to do is to try all the PLLs and see if any of them will work.

I've had good luck undervolting older Dell desktops with Throttle Stop. But then laptops (especially Dells) tend to have a lot of proprietary circuitry.

I'll check out throttle stop, since I read somewhere that using the wrong PLL can damage the CPU. If that doesn't work then I'll just deal with having a hot lap lol.

You don't have to change anything when checking. Just see if SetFSB sees the current settings.
