Current 4790k stock

I plan on buying a 4790k and de-lid, and was wondering if you think you'll have them next week? I can't buy until then, and was surprised you even still had them in stock tbh. Also wondering if 4.8ghz is the highest you have. Thanks!

Yes, current supply should last us a month or so. As long as you guys keep buying them, I'll keep stocking them. 4.8GHz is the top bin right now.

Hi. Mind asking what bios do you use on your Maximus VII formula ?
Or knowing what's the best one ? I remember there was some issue with instability on one of them on Hero VII board.
Thanks ! thumb.gif

Grab one. I've had mine, 4790k @ 4.8 ghz for 18 months now....I'm still awed by it. SL is the best. You will get, at the minimum, what you paid for and likely, more.
Another thought...I got mine 'delidded' and suggest same for you. Mine is 'cooled' by a Corsair H100i and under hard gaming, have never seen above 65C.
Good Luck thumb.gif

I recommend SL as well. Bought 4790K @5G, got it delided and I run it under water @5100MHz, 1.35v.
Shame they dont do 5G anymore.

SL, what was the last time you found a 5G chip(4790k), or maybe even 4.9G?

doubting about an 4790k, got a 4770k now at 4.4 @ 1.3, 4.5 needs 1.4 i reckon

@fat4l We barely bin the 4790K anymore, Skylake makes up 95+% of our mainstream platform sales now. It's no suprise we haven't found golden chips recently considering we aren't testing many.
