how long will my d5 vario last?

ive had mine since 2009, and it still works great
i want to buy a different pump top for 3/8 tubing, but im not sure if i should just buy a new d5 with the top instead

I've had mine since 2010 and it just keeps going (Swiftech version). Just going to use it until it starts to fail.

Don't forget that D5, just like many others in fact, are industrial pumps designed to work for ages. Keeping a spare in the box somewhere is a good idea, but 7 years for D5 is nothing (especially if it's not really seriously taxed with the loop).
