You could try reflowing the solder by baking it in the oven. Read up on how its done. It worth a shot if card has no warranty left which it almost certainly doesnt.

You could also look up the warranty with the serial number on the card. Asus warranty is serial number based and transfers from owner to owner.

I have one of those cards myself and it was very durable card. The only way I could see someone wrecking it besides obviously dropping it is by unlocking the voltage and frying the VRM somehow which is certainly possible since many people did this including myself (unlocking the voltage, powerlimit, not frying the VRM)

If the VRM was somehow fried your screwed.

i can run OCCT stress test and it detects ...load of errors redface.gif

i dont think its the VRM since it shows artifacts everywhere no matter the amount of load

it came with stock factory Bios but i modded it and flashed the unlocked one and ran GPU-Z stress test with 1.21v without crashing
so i think its the VRAM not VRM

what can i do guys?? i really need a new THING to OC and this could be a good one biggrin.gif

The only thing I can think of is trying different outputs.

That card has DVI, HDMI and display port. Try all 3 if possible.

It cant be the output

If the problem is the hdmi then why it crashes when launching a game? And it doesnt render just 1 frame

Aside from OCCT and GPUZ render test ofcourse
