Lower Power Target than 50% on Maxwell

Hello,

normally I'm read only user in this form.

I'm more an efficeny guy than overclocking one, but I hope you can help me, too.
To save some watts I want to lower the power target of my ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 960 with the Asus Tool (and I also tried the Gigabyte OC Guru II)

My problem is I can't go lower that 50% of the designed power target.

This there a way to go below the 50%?

Quit messing about with toys and mod your BIOS like a man!
Seriously though, using something like maxwell bios tweaker offers vastly superior tweaking options to whatever tool AIBs offer. You might even squeeze in some undervolting for "free" power savings.

I allready use a modded bios file.
And a modded biosfile with lower power consuption can't be the solution. I want to change the power target on the fly. Flashing the bios everytime is not really a good option.

If I change Max(mW) the result is, I can use the Asus to increase the power limits manually to a certain value.

And if I change Def(mW) the value a directy enabled in the bios without using any tool.

Does anyone know if the min (mW) is the solution for me, or can the option cease in stablilty problems?
