Soft-Powerplay (the copy in the reg) cannot manipulate voltage.

Maybe depends on the card?

I don't tested, so I can't say I am 100% sure the table in the registry affect voltage or not.

But today AMD sent a pull request for the linux driver, and all their request do is send to the driver a software-based VOLTAGE powerplay table for both Polaris cards and Tonga cards.

I don't think they would bother in sending a voltage table for Tonga, if it didn't affected the cards.

Linux doent have a registry, so.its an entirely different driver implentation.

I cant speak for tonga or fiji, but you cant with gcn 1.0 or hawaii or prior. I know, i tried everything.
