A friend is building a computer and I would like some suggestions. He does photo editing, and he plays Arma 3, and he plays Kerbal Space Program. I suggested an i5 and a 970. He was originally thinking a 480 and a i7. I said It was too much, and that it would be better to invest in an SSD instead. I'll link what he wanted, could use opinion! Thanks.

Cpu: i7 6700k or i5 6600k
GPU: rx 480 4gb cf or 970 sli
ssd: 950 pro and 850 evo
hdd: wd 2tb 7200rpm
cpu cooler: h100i
case: noctis 430
ram: 16 gb hyperx 2133mhz
mobo: asus z170 pro a

His country also has a 24% Tax on most things, so we have to include that as well. Thanks! smile.gif

First off he is better off with one good video instead of two lesser ones, a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 or one of the new AMD cards would be a better option
And second the Corsair H100i is really not all that good of a cooler and there are air coolers that are both better make less noise and cost less

Last i dont see a PSU so does he have one already or forgot?

Never mind

You commented after I made my edit, but I put a build that I would do, and yeah, I dropped the SLI, SLI is useless for most games. smile.gif Thanks Shilka.

Are you saying that I should throw the 480 in the build?
The reviews i have seen so far shows that the RX480 is faster then the GTX 970 and i think its cheaper?
Have not had the chance to read more about the RX480 yet.
