very impressive and compliment coming again from an owner of a card far from being a turd.wow! i am running 1475Mhz core at 1.25V so I might try to push bit more voltage like you do and see if it can actually post and then what happens to my card temps

So 1500/2250 @ 1.3v. What benchmark(s) can you pass at those settings? Does your card throttle back at all during benching?

It can get through heaven benchmark and that's about it. It's not very stable at all. It doesn't throttle at all. I'd have to get lucky with a heaven benchmark too. Most of the time it'd lock up the computer.

That's what mine does at 1500 as well. I've come close to making it through on a couple occasions though.

I have hopes more time to test rx580 bios will allow me to reach 1500 and potentially stable with more voltage

what's your case/ambient temps?

Good luck and keep us posted! I may try pushing more voltage on my own card but from what I've seen so far, it looks like it going to take quite a bit to get 1500 stable.

My case stays around 30c to 40c. I have a corsair spec 02 with 7 fans in it. I put as many fans as i could fit in haha.

I did it passed beyond 1500Mhz core, that is the good news.

completed a full run with heaven without artifacts or crash but the card throttled massively and I got a lower score than what I got at 1475Mhz.and thats with pushing Powerlimit by 50% so it is not satisfying as it is.

will try to continue playing with the 580Bios again when time permits

What were your temps and voltage running at? You may have to upgrade your cooling solution if it's thermal throttling. We're you getting close to 1.3v?
