RX 480 overclock discussion - Page 8

How are you keeping these cool with the stock blower? I'm hitting 90c at 3500 rpm fan speed.

This is gaming, rather than a quick benchmark, but still.

I replaced the tim too. I'm at 1328 mhz at 1.150 vcore. I can't seem to lower it using wattman. If I do it'll crash. ASIC is 83%

I shouldn't complain since this was the 4gb XFX and I flashed it with the BE XFX BIOS.

I'm currently trying to find the watt / performance sweetspot.

= 37.4 points per watt

1266MHz @ 970mV / 2100MHz @ 950mV
Time Spy: 4055 @ 108W max.

I came from a 280x @ 1150/1600 and my 480@ 1405/2200 absolutely demolishes it. I'm only aware of its performance @ 900/1080p so I'm not sure about 1440p and beyond. It should be a sizable improvement, though.

Thank you sir! That should give me an idea on what to expect from the Nitro 480 when it's out.
