BAM, here comes GTX 1060 out of the blue to challenge RX 480.
The card got like a week or two alone.

AMD need money badly to be able to survive, meaning being able to develop chips for all segments, low, midrange and high end, at the same time. One can also start to wonder why the HUGE efficiency lead of Pascal. Where does it come from? The architecture or 16nm?

So... where is the 1060? Or are we now using this well known click bait site as 100% proof at this point?

Or do you have some "insider knowledge" guaranteeing it's going to be faster, let alone cheaper? Well since we all know the answer there those with a brain will wait until it's in the reviewers hands. Nvidia hasn't put out a decent mid range card since the 560ti IMO.

It would be pretty naive and stupid if AMD was to think Nvidia would not answer back with the 1060.

BAM, there falls the GTX 1060 flat on its face because of the tiny 3GB and higher price. RX 480 wins.

pff, don't you know 3db is enough ? git gut man.

The ironic part here is that the only reason we assume there will be 3gb 1060 is because we saw a Zauba shipment with it.

For all we know, it could be 1050.

seems like the 1060 is a winner at 1080p with no AA enabled biggrin.gif

AMD does better in stressful loads than NVidia, NVidia cards lose more performance going from low settings to ultra than AMD does.
