Sustained? No. I don't think I've heard of cards that sustain 2+Ghz. Even the most of the higher end AIBs have been reported to clock back down to high 19s haven't they?

It is 6gb if you look at product code, description showing 8gb is just bad read of xmls by suppliers. Swedish suppliers list both same cards by the way if you search for product code from supplier i used. The second one seem to be Overclocked version

1 - its there or close enough thumb.gif

2 - was never claimed for every card thumb.gif

3 - noone has done VR reviews or benchmarks, so noone actually knows redface.gif

it can go from ~2088-2100 to ~2050+ sustained on an AIB cooler

nothing drops to 19XX that Ive seen

on water you either get no clock drops at all or something like ~13 Mhz drop

1. 60% is not even close to 100%

2. hehe just like 2x480=1080 wasn't for every game but green team implied it anyway. hypocrisy is high here.

3. so basically useless thing to say.

1060 @400e would be a joke... and I don't think it will be much faster, if at all, than a non-throttling AIB 480. Sadly, it would still sell good

Indeed it does, luckily custom models exist.

LOL at GTX 1060 providing GTX 980 performance for the same cost of GTX 980. Atleast RX 480 gives you performance between GTX 970 and 980 for 220 EUR and real async.

People are calling this the 480 killer, but I just don't see it. If the slide is to be believed then the stock 1060 offers 10% more performance than the stock 480. Okay, but we've already seen how poorly the 1080 and 1070 overclock and the miminal gains to be had from doing so. We pretty much know the AIB 480s can make the jump from 1266 to 1500+ clock speeds. So OC vs OC the 480 is going to win everytime. So, not much of a killer :/

from ~1750+ sustained avg boost on stock to ~2050-2100Mhz is a 17% OC

much much better than the 5% of 480
