So, no benches before days ? frown.gif

They shouldn't even bother. That would be another reason for them to get bashed by critics. As if the nonsense that is the FE isn't enough.

EDIT: Actually since the WCCf graph was fake andleak benchmarks put the 1060 at 8-10% over the 480, the nitro could be faster.

BUT the G1 1060 could be faster than the Nitro 480 too.
you're forgetting that all 1070 and 1080 custom coolers are ones from the top shelf, so they cost more than theoretical 600 MSRP of 1080.
1060 AIB will likely be simpler versions of top shelf air coolers and therefore we might see $250 windforce 2X,some with old gen twin frozr taken from 960 or a single fan acx one.
I've seen leaked benches put 1060 15% over 480, so if we get an AIB version like dual fan windofrce at near $250 price then I can't see AIB RX480 touch it.
we'll see what happens, but I think with Polaris 10 only matching maxwell performance/watt while Pascal is around 1.75x of that I can't really see RX480 beating 1060 unless we compare oc'd AIB version of 480 to stock 1060.

I think(know) that 1060 AIB will be less than FE. I also think supply issues will see this card costing more than MSRP across the board. What benchmarks put it at 15% above the 480? The leaked 3dmark bench put it 8% faster. I could stand to be corrected if i'm wrong.

synthetic benches rolleyes.gif like they ever reflect the actual gaming performance........ Fury X was 35% faster than 980 in leaked synthetics, then we saw what happened.

this is the one I was referring to, 15,7% faster than 480 @1080p

It was given days ago, but it's pure speculation, based on "smart" calculus" (taking into account frequency, Tflops, Rops, etc...) so nothing very reliable at that step. tongue.gif

It's the performance bar.

If the performance figure is accurate and the TDP figures are representative of typical power consumption, then the graph is correct.

Even. 150 divided by 120.

1.25 I.e 25 percent more efficient. However of this card also performs 15 percent better while consuming 25 percent better it acts as a modifier.

I.e 1.15. IF IT performed the same this modifier would be 1 but since it's performs 15 percent better, this becomes 1.15.

There for to get the efficiency you have to multiply both numbers.

1.25 * 1.15 = efficiency.

Yes.
