Doom does not support Vulkan. It was promised "soon" at launch, and it has not happened yet.

DOTA2 would be testing the CPU not the GPU.

Look at an exactly same specs RX 480 rig with one GPU and the RX 480 beats it by a 1-2 frames. This was done pre-driver update that gave a 5-7.5% performance boost.

true im niether for amd or nvidia in the end there both company;s who arent there to help you but to take your money

but in deed its a good thing for reviewers to have more games over a wider architecture to test

and on the r9 290 running dota 2 in 4k yes it does perfectly above 60 fps tho the health bars are smal as hell ^^

WoW actualy gets heavier each expension as it gets engine updates still not super heavy of a game but newer area's need a beefier machine

if 1060 only loses by 1-2 frames in Ashes then its going to smoke 480 in other games (DX12 included, sans Hitman) wink.gif
