(polish, let chrome translate it for you)

leads you to this install

If you have AVX2 its about a 50% performance upgrade vs stock.

I have switched to this CPU only project while the summer months roll by and the GPU's idle.

I am getting a computation error in linux, but this works fine in windows. Maybe the ISA detection is off (cpu does not have AVX2, so it should use SSE3 instead).

Nothing but computation errors with Van Der Waerden Numbers...If i limit it to one task it 'might' work. Never crunched a project this fussy before.rolleyessmileyanim.gif

I gave up on that project the first day smile.gif To many errors for a project that makes no sense to me. Not saying its not useful but maybe someone can explain the point of it to me.

We are doing pretty good in Enigma and should meet our goal. Gpugrid on the other hand looks like we are not budging. I have 4 750ti's on that project and tasks take over 24 hours tongue.gif

I can't get any tasks for gpugrid. mad.gif I haven't changed anything since the last time I ran it other than updating my gpu drivers.

I'm actually surprised there's still a work unit drought as the newcomer started beginning of June, and that was supposed to bring a bunch of new work.

I'm only getting long tasks (ACEMD long runs )...you have that selected in the prefs? I run 2 tasks at a time on my 970 and its always been fed.

Or its a linux issue... but @SuperSluether seems the be getting work.

Are you in Linux or Windows.  Crunching in windows, I am at a less than 1% error rate, with 3944 tasks complete and only 32 errors.

All of those errors were memory related.  Once I made sure to give it enough memory 1.5+ GB/task, everything has been smooth.
