Here is the whopping ~40 seconds that has shown AMD's superior dx12 abilities.

It is so amazing how a benchmark can actually mimic the complexity of a game in such a short amount of time with little to no action.

RotR async only gives 2-3% on a R9 Nano and in some cases also massively lowers minimum frames ..

so I'd like to see that benchmark where Fury X beats 980Ti or Titan X smile.gif and would like to see Fury X min fps with async enabled

its so moot that almost every game out there (except Ashes and a few X1 ports) is still a DX11 game, a few just have a half-working DX12 late patch/setting slapped on rolleyes.gif and BF1 and the like will be no different in that regard, BF1 right now has 1 slider that says DX12 and does nothing rolleyes.gif


it'll take until new DX12 game engines are created (and more ppl using Win 10) for DX12 to truly matter and become what DX11 is now thumb.gif

There is something wrong with the new tomb raider update ,stutter every few seconds. Same thing happened with Gears of war but it was fixed on an update - this will be the reason for the low min frames. It is the reason for my 290x anyway. Not the best game to use as a DX12 example
