Computer won't boot.

Alright so I've had this rig for some time and everything has been great. The worst part of it was just the 760 sitting in it that I was planning on replacing with the newest generation of cards after I saw what AMD had to offer. Mostly use this thing for gaming with some video editing.

I updated the driver for my graphics card the other day and started experiencing driver crashes. Some times they would recover other times the whole pc would restart. I had not gotten the chance to downgrade the driver which I was in the process of doing and it is like my computer realized that and said nope. Thing crashed again and now I haven't been able to get it to POST at all. I'm just looking to rattle your guys brains to see if what I am thinking is correct before I just go spend money.

The current issue I'm having is that the DRAM LED light comes on and stays on. The MemOK! button doesn't help anything. It will just blink for eternity after pressing it. I can't get a POST message.

Things I've done:
  • Reseated CMOS battery.
  • Reseated RAM.
  • Used only 1 stick in different slots. Used both sticks of RAM I have.
  • Tried a different stick of RAM which didn't help. Same kind just a 2GB stick instead of 4GB.
  • Reset jumper.
  • Tried different PSU.
  • Tried different GPU.
  • Reseated CPU.

    Sig rig is current.

There might be one or two other things but my brain hurts from frustration right now. I'm thinking I'm going to have to go buy some new RAM? At least then I'd know if it was the mobo or something else.

    Appreciate any help.

Did you try a BIOS reset?

Unplug PSU from wall outlet
Remove BIOS battery
Press power button a few timed
Put it back together
Re-enter only they BIOS setting you need to boot.

Didn't do anything unfortunately.

Do you have a linux live disk or can borrow 1,that will tell you if it has to do with windoze or hardware problems,is not always the case
but a good start.it seems to me you already tried everything else.

Don't have one or know anyone that does. I could make one at work on Tuesday. I don't know if that'd help though because my screen just stays black. I can't do anything with it at the moment. I'm thinking I'm going to drive to microcenter and pick up some RAM just to make sure it isn't the RAM. But after that I'm guessing my motherboard or cpu is done? I do have my old motherboard which I could swap out everything and make sure it isn't the motherboard.

Well bought some new RAM. Still the same thing. I'm going to guess my motherboard is dead.
