PSP a failure?
Anyone that had a PSP and didn't use a custom firmware was a failure.
It really was what made the handheld great. It could play music, play any emulator you wanted. It could play old PSX games.
The PSP's titles were pretty slow coming at first and picked up later in life, kinda like the PS3. In the End the PSP had a pretty solid lineup for what it was, a side project.
Add in the fact that loading a custom firmware was pretty much the key reason into owning one, and you will see that this little device was ahead of its time.
I still have mine, with a 64gb sd card packing all the great games and emulators.
Sony Electronics (not the sony pictures, which is another company all together) has been making crap for years. And really I don't feel any remorse, as the stuff they make can be compared to the likes of RCA.
Sure they still make a couple of nice things like cameras, TV, and the playstation. But pretty much all of their consumer audio products should be destroyed. Their Phones are over priced and riddled with Playstation themed icons and whatnot. Among other countless examples.
What they really need to do is stop making everything that is losing them money, and stick to the few things they are good at. Maybe this way the can start healing their brand name, as every day people are finding out that the Sony band is the next Cheap-O brand on the market.Edited by DzillaXx - 7/3/16 at 8:59am
