980 Ti Sli -> 1080 Sli worth it?

People who made the move. Was it worth the hassle? I say hassle because I need to re-think my water cooling etc.
Let me know what's up?
I just got rid of my water-cooled 980TI sli G1s to get sli 1080 gtx sli (water-cooled as well) I'm still hunting a pair of 1080s down as they are out of stock everywhere. I'm planing on getting the most basic 1080s I can find as they all seem to overclock the same despite the power delivery and power phases.
I sold both of my 980 tis for 800 and the water blocks for 160.

I don't have a water-cooled setup, but I'm holding out for the Ti versions (if it exists). But no doubt, the 1080 is a great card, but not enough of a difference for me to take the hassle - as it is, I wont get much for my 980Ti's to make the change worth it.

Also depends on whether you need the bump in performance.....I assume you are playing at 4K?

Thanks for the replies. Seems like a pair of 1080s are in order. Can't seem to find them anywhere though mad.gif
