https://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Audio-Splitter-Speaker-Headphones/dp/B005GNQNHU

or

just make sure that the plug has 3-pins, so not like this:

(you see that it has 3 black rings on the plug, but it has to be 2 rings)

Sorry for the late reply to your post I have been busy.
So the problem was that i plugged in the headphone and the extension into the wrong holes.
I managed to get the test sound now but then this came up

And my system volume is at 100% but it still says to increase the volume
how can I resolve this ?

if you have indeed a 4-pin plug on the splitter, means that one end puts out stereo, and the other end is used for microphone input.
So now you connect the mic-in from the splitter, to the line-in of your onboard, and it just doesn't work - there is very low signal, covered in distortion.

new splitter or nvm. tongue.gif

wow, this is like superbad, and i can't quite believe that a more premium mobo could have this result - there is nothing below 60hz anymore.
I suspect some windows/driver setting might be responsible tho, which would show if you would run the test without headphones plugged in once.

If it shows a flat frequency response(from like 20hz-20000hz) then, your onboard sound is garbage. tongue.gif

I dont get what you mean nothing below 60hz ? does it mean that it doesnt produce the sound below that ?
thats why I look at my graph and it looked so **** hahaha...
Do you mean i can fix my problem from updating my driver ?
If I cant then I might get the SBZx

well, first you should verify that it's not a driver thing, by doing the test again without the headphones connected - if it goes below 60hz then, then the onboardsound is crap.
If it doesn't go below 60hz, even when the headphones are not connected, then it must be some driver setting which prevents going below 60hz.

Yes, no sound below 60hz there. tongue.gif
