Hahaha I'm really confused at why my system is doing this.
I might as well buy the SBZx and see what happens.
I might get it somewhere during next week, I will keep you posted on the changes.

Sorry for the long reply the stock just came in and I just got it today.
I seem to have a problem with my sound card when I test it on RMAA it says the volume is too low even though I have my volume maxed out.
Is there any problem with my sound card or is it something else ?

I often get problems with RMAA when i choose a [MME] device, so i always test with the [DirectSound] device(in your case [DirectSound] Speakers (Sound Blaster Zx)).

Now I dont know why after restarting and moving my SBZx from PCI-E 3 to PCI-E 2 it gave me this notice.

because when you use another slot, it will be recognized by windows as a new device, which will now be called SB-Zx(2).

In the SB-Z control panel, click on the down-arrow left of the "minimize","exit" symbols, and choose the "correct" audio device. wink.gif

-disable all effects in SBX-Pro studio
-disable crystal voice
-set input device to "line-in" in mixer(instead of mic)

nice graphs. smile.gif

but what i don't understand is, that the onboard + hd558 measures so flat.
It actually measures better than the SB-Zx + hd558 who-let-rip-smiley.png
It seems that the onboard must have a very low output impedance, which is very unusual.
