Keep 1080p for Secondary Monitor or use a 1440p I already own?

Thread Starter
I currently have a Crossover Q27 2560x1440 27 inch monitor. I have an Asus 1080p monitor (unknown model, I think it's 23 inches or so) as my secondary display. My primary monitor is gaming. I use the secondary for Ventrillo, Twitch, Music and so forth.

The Q27 caps out at 60 fps. I ordered an ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 144hz IPS monitor with Gsnyc.

I have an EVGA Titan X as my GPU.

Since I don't need good resolution on my secondary monitor should I keep the 1080p or use the Crossover as my secondary? Will having the extra pixels on a 1440p vs 1080p cause me any kind of performance hit while gaming?

Space on my desk is a little bit of an issue too.

Thanks!

Keep using the Crossover, it's should do everything with a better picture, then the 23 inch.
Maybe run the Crossover at a lower then 2560X1440 resolution.
