WinPho are really great. I can't recommend enough for people wanting to try a new OS. Apps are growing in terms of the basic apps list that is available on other OS's, but its still not there. Besides, Microsoft's own attempt to shoot itself in the foot by asking people to upgrade their desktop to their next OS by hook or by crook whilst alienating their customer base of WinPho 8.1 customers by not having its most ambitious OS on those device is really stupid. Well, I'd wait for what MS does come Sept.

FTFY.

We're losing support of really big, almost core applications. Others get barely any support and are updated months apart. Microsoft insist on killing apps that made WP different (PhotoSynth anyone?)

The OS is great, the appscape is desolate, and certainly worse than it was when I bought my 930.

Are you serious ? Coz I have a 1520 with WP10 and all of the regular social media apps work just fine. My 920 with WP8.1 now has issues with regular apps that crash such as the browser.

I use an iPhone 6S+ 128gb version. Love it.

I had an early windows phone. It was trash. Battery killing phone that was slow slow slow.

Nothing is perfect but I am happy with my phone.

Not sure what planet you are living on but it comes with office and very few 'apps' are missing. You have Skype, OneNote, OneCloud, etc...

I have an older 928 and over the last 4 years, itself... has sold many windows phones as many people over the years picked it up. Once you use a win10 phone, it converts you. They works so well with your laptop, or pc, or Xbox...

Obviously, it does cost a price to leave the free android/google ecosystem, but once you do you, you really get a sense of freedom. It is also pretty kewl that you can add to them too (HP Elite X3/Acer liquid Primo/Lumina 950xl) and make them like a desktop/laptop/pc.

I am really interested in the X3's Continuum's pseudo notebook that is wirelessly driven by the X3, called "Mobile Extender".

This is Brilliant!

I'm rocking an LG G4 and my girlfriend wanted one too soon after. I don't have any complaints, but then again I don't use it for too much. I'm mostly interested in taking pictures.

Pretty much this. Amazon is dumping their app, Spotify doesn't get updated anymore, Waze isn't there anymore because MS doesn't dare to go head to head against Google, and all of the major games don't exist on the platform. I agree, from a user standpoint that has use iOS and Android, WM10 is my favorite of them all in terms of cleanliness, usability, and ease. The tiles are wonderful and are different, the interface is slick and fast. The phone just feels good in the hand, the phone designs are wonderful (currently on a Lumia 830, leaning towards getting the next Winphone or jumping to Android with Samsung, Asus, HTC, Oneplus, Huawei, and Xiaomi).

But with anything nowadays, no good apps, means that there is no hope for the platform. Windows Phone is slowwlly going the way of WinMo 6.5 where it was strictly business centric, then died because MS didn't support their own product, and no 3rd party support where Apple came in and took it by storm. MS CEO has no real interest in Windows Mobile. If he did, he would have teams offer to port over 3rd party apps to make the usage lively and high on Windows Mobile. I mean, there are people making 3rd party of apps like Twitch, but no true first party support or app from Twitch sucks because it carries more weight in legitimacy.

Just seeing how Amazon left, it's kinda telling on how WM10 will live in the coming years, strictly a business phone with okay apps, then die off. Sad.
